“Fan”tastic!

This 'n' That

23 Aug

Well, SCS LSC182 002 copy Cindy has created a monster….me!!! Boo! Eeek!

Here is another SCS challenge, and it was to use retired stamp sets, paper, embellishments and things like that. Well retired stamp sets I can handle as I have a few that I will not part with…oh well some I did part with, only to realize I wish I had not and then I had to buy them from someone else later…yeah pretend that has never happened to you. But everything else is brand spankin' new!

So I was excited to use my retired Furnished with Love set….this is a cute cute set.  I also used a cuttlebug folder for the FIRST TIME!  I ONLY bought one just to try it with the Big Shot so I can show my customers that they can use them with our machine too.  Now I want them ALL…..so my fingers, toes, knees, eyes, teeth, I don't know whatever I can cross that SU! will come out with our own cause these are a total must have.  I am in a dilemma, do I use it at my kick off?  Ugh! I never, never, never show non-SU! stuff at anything, but how blah would the card be if I did not put the bubbles on it.  It is just at my house, it is not like it is a workshop, I am doing a similar card at my kick off, and well I am still undecided. Anyway I hope you like it, and here is what I used.

Stamp set: Furnished with Love

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze (pronounced Ba"h"a – not Ba"j"a – Cindy!!), Going Gray, Pacific Point

Paper: Very Vanilla, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, watercolor paper

Misc: Pacific Point striped ribbon, crafters tool kit, white gel pen, Big Shot #2 scallop circle die, bubbles cuttlebug folder, Big Shot

I hope you like it, and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

I would say definitely use it! I'm guessing that all of your guests won't be SU demos and probably have a few CB folders themselves… what a way to promote the new SU Big Shot to show them that they can use their CB folders in the BS and get exclusive dies. If I had the money for it I know I would! Hope this helps. Cute card!!

great card! I would use the cuttlebug folder. It shows how you can use other dies in the big shot! That's a benefit to having it, you aren't limited to just one kind of die! Thanks for your inspiration, i love your blog!

OOOHHH…you're crossing the line again! It's a good thing you didn't try the duck I was tempting you with 😉 I too wish SU would come out with cuttlebug folders…not so sure my husband would agree! The card is super cute as usual!

Love your card! And you're right – it wouldn't be the same without the bubbles! I just love my collection of CB embossing folders – they really are WONDERFUL!!!

If you love your 'bubbles', you MUST try the snowflakes!!! AND there's a bunch of new release folders for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas that are fantastic….at their lower price, how can you NOT buy them all? Love your card; love the colors!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
