That is my bed calling me….but first, I wanted to tell you how much fun I had at Convention, I won’t share it all today, cause I am tired…but…
…I flew to SLC a week ago, and sat next to a nice young man who was enjoying a snack of “his fingernails” – blech, I just schooshed on over to the window and slept, just like Christmas eve…cause you know Christmas morning comes must faster if you are sleeping.
I could hardly wait to get there to see my BFF Tracy. It was so perfectly timed too, I got off the plane, made a pit stop, went to get my luggage and it was right there, I got a cab and was at the hotel with my BFF in about 20 minutes after I got off the plane…not bad eh? It totally was worth going in a couple days early and staying over a day too.
Oh and look who just happened to be at Convention….just for little old me…my very own favorite Banjo player Craig Miner from Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand, I may have mentioned him once, or twice, or a thousand times on my blog.
He was there and so was Bart Olson (he plays the drums for RSRB) – they were selling CD’s for the entertainers Red Sofa Sol-Fa – hey it sounded like Sofa, I did not know what they were really called till I went to buy a CD from my Craig…
Anyway, please excuse the hair, I was so excited to see him, my hair stood up….actually we had massages earlier and it happened then.
Just look at his cute face not mine…but I enjoyed seeing him, and chatting a bit. Hopefully the feeling is mutual and he is not like “I really need to get that restraining order!”
They hope to get back to AZ for a Christmas Show!
I want to show you one of the new stamp sets we got at Convention. We got 3 of them, plus I got 2 more for sales and we all got the new Ronald McDonald set too. So I will have to get busy and show you those. But first here is Flight of the Butterfly, pretty eh?
Oh and the dogs were so happy I was coming home they must have talked about doing something special for me, and well they are dogs and it aint like they can go shopping or anything. So just like I tell my customers, if you make something for someone they will appreciate it more, and know you love them…well my little dogs really do love me, they both left me some nice little treats in their crates. Jeff said I got home just in time…Ha!
So I promise to post more and get a tutorial on here, I just need to get unpacked and go to bed early, so I can be fresh and ready to get back stamping tomorrow! Tracy and I had many a late night, and they are catching up to me.
Thanks for stopping in, and I will talk to you tomorrow, and I promise to share lots more stuff with you in the days and weeks to come!
Hugs, Di
Restraining order heck…they outta be giving you some sort of kickback for all the PR you give them!
