The Stampin’ Zoo

This 'n' That

12 Jun

Ok, I'm not talking about a class, although sometimes my classes can be wild and crazy! Like when I did the punch book class, there was a few times we had punches dropped and bouncing on the floor..yikes! Everyone was having so much fun and trying to get everything done it was a little hairy!

Speaking of the punch book, I am going to try to move it or recategorize it so it is easier to find, I keep getting emails cause people are trying to find it, and it is kinda hard since I have posted so much since then….ok it worked now under categories is Punch Book, click on that and there you are!

Ok, here is a quick card, …well I did some embossing and then bleaching and that had to dry and then I was able to color, but really it was not that long, and the little monkey is so cute!

I used a paint brush and laundry bleach, I usually prefer Clorox Advantage but did not have any, so I just used regular Clorox bleach. I embossed it with black first and then bleached out where I wanted to add the color, as well as the edges of the card.  After it dried, I colored with an aqua painter and the watercolor crayons.

I have my fingers crossed we keep the scallop notes and get more fun shaped cards. We have already seen the new laser cut Fresh Cut Notes so that is exciting.

I found some older cards with some more critters on them…hence the zoo…………….

I loved the hedgehogs when we had them, they were so much fun, and we had so many sets with them doing different things, you could almost do a whole story book with them.

This was a fun Christmas card, using not your normal Christmas colors.

Here is another one of my past favorite stamp sets, this turtle was so much fun, he could put a smile on anyone's face.

I hope you enjoyed looking at some fun animal cards, and maybe you can do a little embossing and bleaching, and see what you can come up with.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
