You have to meet my good friend Cindy Lawrence, and check out some of her awesome work.
Visit her blog at www.onehappystamper.typepad.com and you will see what I mean.
She is not only talented but beautiful, this picture was taken a couple years ago of Cindy and I at the Managers Reception dinner. We were asked to demonstrate techniques at the Managers Reception at Leadership, (I think there were 8 of us total) so before hand we were all served dinner at a nice sit down table and the food was so yummy.
I was a little nervous as it was my first time demonstrating for Stampin' Up! at an event, and I did not want to eat much and blow chunks or have the runs during my demonstration…the runs came the next day – eh BFF Tracy!!!??! Ha! I seemed to remember Dr. Oz talking about air intake leads to a lot of air in you, and I talked for over 2 hours straight and my tummy rumbled all the next day, and I think it was the air traveling through me, and well that night, there was some definite looseness, if you catch my drift…..anyway back to Cindy….before YOU blow chunks!
Here are a couple of her cards that I took pictures of a while back, ok I guess I took them 2 minutes ago cause for the life of me I can't find where I put them on my computer…geesh!
Cindy taught "White Magic" and these are a few samples:
Beautiful ain't it?
I just love the colors in this one, and the three different color ribbons looks so awesome, and her signature 3 brads is on the card too. She usually has 3 of something on her cards…I love it. Odd numbers are much more pleasing to the eye then even. Did ya know that?
See, did I lie? Nope…she is pretty darned talented, and I can hardly wait to see her at Convention and hang out, I am even packing chocolate candies just for her arm…a little secret joke…she lives in New Hampshire, so we only see each other at Leadership, Cruise and Convention.
I hope you enjoyed this little bragfest about my Cindy, go check out her blog and tell her I said hi!
Thanks for stopping in!
P.S. I just realized it is going to be Friday the 13th….ugh!!! I might just stay in bed all day…I'm a little superstitious…Jeff hung up our new flat screen in the bedroom, we have never had a TV in our bedroom since we moved out to the boonies, over 10 years ago. But now that I am using the treadmill I need something to make it not so boring….but I am gonna have to promise Mr. Gibbs something real special to have him lower it about 4 inches or so, I told him I would give it a try for a while…ain't I a pain in the wazoo?
Hugs, Di
