So Long Nice Soft Mattress Pad…

This 'n' That

6 Jun

…this old girl ain't as young as she used to be.

About a month or so ago I bought a new mattress pad cause my BFF Tracy got one and she said it reminded her of the bed on cruise.  Well Tracy is younger and her back is much healthier then mine, cause I just can't take it anymore.

I think it all started when I had my son Eric.  I had horrible back labor and had an epidural, the old needle to the spine.  Cause before that I could lift anything, twist, and sleep anywhere, and I did not have a problem. But as soon as we came home, I had horrible back problems, and we had to get rid of our waterbed…ha! does anyone even have these anymore?  We had to get a regular mattress.  We have a really nice one on our bed but I also wanted that cruise feel.  Soon after we put it on I was a little achy, and it has gotten worse, today I am like an old woman, my back aches and so do my hips, yowzaa! not good.

So we took it off, we will put it on the bed in our travel trailer, the few nights a year I sleep in it won't hurt.  I am hoping tomorrow I get up feeling lots better, I mean heck I have 340 cards to cut! Holy paper cutter Batman, that's a lot of paper!

Here is another card for this weekend. I love this stamp set, it is so versatile. I based this card on treelady62 on Splitcoaststampers.

Recipe:

Stamp Set: Fun & Fast Notes

Paper: Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Watercolor paper, East Coast Prep Designer Paper

Ink: Going Gray, Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red Classic Inks, Jetblack Stazon

Misc: Red Striped Ribbon and Wild Wasabi Striped Ribbon

We also learned some fun news today from Stampin' Up!, well we did not really learn anything yet, but just that on the 17th we will learn of a new product line that SU! will be carrying. I am hoping for cuttlebug plates in exclusive SU! patterns. I have not tried these but I have seen them and they look so cool. My Arizona Mum Marlene was showing me some on the weekend, and I admit I drooled.  I would love to buy some new fun storage container just to keep them in.

I am like not liking to wait to find out what the new line is, I mean you know how I am with surprises, who the heck do I have to sleep with sweet talk to find out the scoop?

I will let you know when I find out anything.

Have a super Friday and thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Maybe the BAD back latly is from cutting all that Card Stock. That slight bend with putting pressure down to make the cut. Does me in sometimes.

No!!!!!!!! Say it aint the Pad!!! I hate to think I suggested something that has caused you pain.

OR!!!??? Maybe it's all the Hanky Panky you and "Mr Gibb's" preform!! Ha Ha!!
    Love Ya,
    Tracy

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
