Doesn't this look good enough to eat? I love this little stamp set. I used it before for my Birthday card class. This weekend is one of my team's shoebox and potluck meetings. We do this type of meeting a couple times a year, usually before Convention and then for Christmas. It is a great social time for everyone to get to know each other better. The food is always yummy too!
The swap is either Thank you or Birthday, and with the retired list out ya gotta be careful what you use.
I think they will like making this. I actually colored on the watercolor paper with the classic inks and a blender pen, I had a bit more control then the aqua painter, but ya have to keep loading the blender pen up with ink.
Anywho, here is what I used:
Stamp sets: Floral, Bitty Birthday
Paper: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Watercolor Paper
Ink: Jetblack stazon, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Going Gray, Bashful Blue, More Mustard, and Summer Sun Classic Inks, Pretty in Pink Craft
Misc: White gel pen, crafters tool kit, (piercer stuff out of it), pink taffeta ribbon, and black gingham ribbon. I used the top of a pencil eraser to make the candle flame circles. Just ink it up in summer sun, stamp it off, roll the edges in the ink and then kinda roll them on the card around the candle flames.
Have a great Friday, I will be running errands getting stuff for my Saturday meeting and then for Sunday for Spring Fling, and in the back of my head I will be thinking…hmmmm…whatever will the tutorial be for Tuesday?
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
