Toad Sittin’ & Turtle Eatin’

This 'n' That

10 Jun

OK, so you are thinking, what the heck is she talking about now?

We are toad sittin' for Isabella and Enya while they are in California with their Mum and Dad, and Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.  Tfork bow 002he toads are kinda neat to look at…but a little boring as a pet…when you are as old as me. They do not like to cuddle, and they don't come when you call them.  They are actually called Fire Belly Toads. See this little guy or girl? He is saying "where the heck is breakfast?" And breakfast is…crickets!

Too funny, Jennifer said that when they brought them home, they immediately started to have sex..the toads that is… and of course the girls were like "what are they doing?" and Jennifer said "they were hugging" or now that we have seen Sex and the City, they were "coloring".  I don't know if I will ever be able to tell someone at a workshop to "color this card" and not have a smile on my face! Then later Enya drew a picture of the toads hugging!  Gotta love kids eh?

So back to the other part of the title  "Turtle Eatin'".  If you eat two pecans and a milky way caramel candy together, go ahead put them all in your mouth together, it tastes like a turtle…try it.

And speaking of turtles, the real live ones, did you know that they will keep an egg in them with a baby turtle for as long as they want, maybe years, and wait till the environment is right, things are safe, or things are going to be better for the baby….like when gas is NOT over $4.00 a friggin gallon….ok calm down, breath deep!

So anyway, that is what I think is happening to my gut, why I am getting fat…I mean after eating so many of my home made turtles, I think I must be part turtle and I am actually carrying a baby, and will wait till the time is right to have it….sound good? Nope just freaky eh?

On a side note: I have had over 30K hits! Holy Moly! Oh My Land! For Pete's Sake! Yowza! Cowabunga! Scooby-Dooby-Doo! (ok that last one was for Eric!) Thanks to everyone for checking in with me!

If there is something you would like to see, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
