Congratulations Mary!

This 'n' That

1 Jun

Well my friend Mary Hoffman won the battle of the bands and she got to open for Kenny Chesney tonight.

Now that meant she could not open for Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand where we were at, but I am happy for her, she is awesome and so talented.  Check her out at www.maryhoffman.net

So here I am sitting on Craig Miner’s knee while he signs autographs…..well that is just me dreaming, cause actually  I kicked myself all the way home tonight after the RS&RB concert, and that was  kinda hard since I was driving, but I was like “stupid, stupid Diana” I shoulda asked Craig if I could sit on his knee, or have him sit on mine whileryan shupe 060 he signed autographs, wouldn’t that have been a hoot…or at least a great picture, instead me and my 5 chins posed for this one. I should have run around the table instead of leaning over like this but oh well. I did see him earlier in the evening and he signed the back of my shirt. Poor guy is gonna need therapy.

I mean I’m not dangerous or anything, I just have a little bit of a crush. Aint he a cutie?

Pickin’ and Grinnin’ that’s what it is all about.  I think here he is thinking oh I hope I don’t forget the chords with Diana in the front row.

I am THE number ONE fan you know!

It was an awesome concert, and they played a few of their new songs, and I have the new CD and have played it about 20 times now and love ALL the songs.  Can you believe that yesterday Ryan Shupe woke up with a belly ache and went to emergency and had his appendix removed and then today he was in Mesa playing….what a guy. Gonna have to send him a handstamped get well card.

I wonder if I can add a video on here, I am afraid that they are gonna be sideways though cause of the way I held the camera…..let’s see if I can fix it….crap, I can’t so if anyone knows how I can, please let me know.  So no videos, or you will be nauseated holding your head to the side. Dang,  the video while I was taking it looked better on the side, crap, crap, and crap, if they can’t be set up straight.

Here is another card for my 10/10/20 Birthday card class. I love this little turtle, and I added some polka dots to his spots, so that it matches the polka dotted background paper that I used in the center.

Have a great Sunday, I am going to see “Sex and the City” with my AZ Mum Marlene and sister Jen.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
