Ummm…Have you seen my hand sanitizer?

This 'n' That

5 May

I am a bit of a germafobe, is that even a word?  I kinda freak out about germs.  It seems to have gotten worse over the years, I don’t know if it is cause I am allergic to so many antibiotics or what.  I mean I am not compulsive, I don’t wash my hands 50 times a day….unless I pee 50 times a day, but you know what I mean.

I love the show “Monk” and am so glad it is now on NBC, cause I think more people will watch it and see how funny it is. I love Tony Shaloub, and have loved him since Wings, when he was the cabbie, and then in Men in Black and he got his head shot off and it grew back…OMG! tonight’s Monk had nude people on it, and it was hilarious, cause they were freaking him out, and he was hiding in a closet and the nude people were there, and of course the slats were hiding all the parts, and they were bending down looking for a pen and he was seeing everything…what a riot.

So I don’t know where the germ thing came from, my Mum and my sister (Love you both and see you soon!) used to be nurses, and so I must have missed that gene.  I got the artsy fartsy gene I guess, I mean I always wanted to be a teacher, and do my art, but wipe a snotty kids nose…ugh! I could not do that, so being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator allows me to teach, and do art….and the best part I don’t have to wipe anyone’s nose….yeah….Trip to PA 049I’m lucky I know.

I had someone email me about the frog picture, so here it is alone. There really is a frog in there. Of course I did not touch him, they pee on ya, and I think that gives you warts.

I also want to thank everyone for visiting my blog and the nice comments and emails, it means a lot to me. I would love to know where you are all hearing about the punch class entry cause that seems to be very popular, I mean I know it is on a few blogs, but lately it has been getting more hits all the time.

I hope to make it better, and get more stamping stuff on here for you.

These are a few of my favorite things:

Favorite movie “Serendipity” ya have to watch this movie, oh and “Lake House” I love that one too.

Favorite book: I have a lot, but a couple that I really love are “Time and Again” and the sequel “From Time to Time” by Jack Finney

Favorite food: a good pizza, and I swear that is getting harder and harder to find – I mean heck Pizza Hut is now delivering Pasta, what does that tell ya? uhuh…their pizza is not as good as it used to be

Favorite ice-cream: Butter Pecan, yeah I know there are so many possibilities now but I still like that oldie but a goodie

Favorite TV Shows: Reba (please bring it back), House, Brothers & Sisters, Ellen, hmmm..that’s all I can think of right now.

Well that’s enough of my blabbing.

Thanks for stopping in.

Hugs, Di

I had seen the punch book that you had posted on here. Then someone on SCS mentioned that you had it on the cruise (I think as a swap).

well, last weekend I was at a Creative Festival here in Toronto. There was a Stampin Up Demo there doing some "punch" art. We started talking about your punch book – what can I say – you are famous (and yes it's a small world).

By the way – love Serendipity – right up there with Sleepless in Seattle.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
