It Must Have "Slipped" My Mind

This 'n' That

9 May

So as I go through my card boxes to come up with ideas for my upcoming class, I realize it is that time of year again to get rid of a lot of them.  If I made them, I package them up with an envelope and sell them, others I keep for the idea or they have a sentimental meaning to me. I still have my first swap card from my BFF Tracy, and at that time I did not even really know her.   Some of them get packaged up as door prizes at my workshops or classes, and some I put in a box and my downline go through and take what they want. blog 050908 003

I came across this card, I loved this set, it was just fun and playful…right now off the top of my head I can not remember the name of it though. I love to paper piece and this one was fun to have the slip be any color you wanted.  I think it looked more like a summer dress with this paper.

Here are a few more I found:

I love the Heartfelt stamp set, and the whole 2 step and watercolory look that it has, and using a couple colored markers makes this card a snap.

The black and white one was from my 10/10/20 Black & White card class. So elegant and simple. Sometimes you just need a card like this, kinda like a little black dress, it never goes out of style.

Here is one that was using a stamp set from Sale-a-Bration from last year.  I know I cased  someone and I can’t remember who, I wanna say Heather Birch.

This is a card I made over a year ago (I can hear ya, doesn’t she get rid of anything?) Ha! Someone asked me where I got the boxes on the bottom of my red shelf, and they are just our SU! forget me not keepers and I line them with background paper, and they are full, full and full of cards…..so I really need to go through them.

Hope you enjoyed a look back at some fun and cute cards.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
