Well I hope you all had a fun Mother’s Day! We went to Golfland/Sunsplash in Mesa, and then we went to the movie Iron Man…I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It was so good, and just a little hint…stay till the end of the credits….the ticket seller told us that when we bought the tickets, and it was funny, he must have only told a few people cause only a few stayed and everyone else left.
One of my friends is having twin girls and I made her a baby album for her shower gift. I love using the Stampin’ Up! Simply Scrappin’ Kits, they make scrapbooking so easy, and the kits are so beautiful. I recently had a 6×6 scrapbook class and everyone made their choice of album and kit, I love doing this class every year because then I get to see all the kits for real, because the catalog does not do them justice.
So I made up the baby album and then that was the basic foundation for class that everyone followed to make their album. The single page pictures are the front and back covers, and also to show you a close-up of a couple of the onesies, then the rest are double page spreads pretty much. I tied a piece of Groovy Guava around a Mellow Moss Linen Ring album and it turned out pretty nice.
After class was over I then added all the special little embellishments you see here using the By Ones & Twos stamp set, and added more of the adhesive diecuts that come in the kit. Some of the pages are not super fancy, just cause I am not sure what pictures will be used on each page. But here is the pages from the album, I hope she likes it, I had fun making it for her.
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
