So, my BFF Tracy and I decided to do Secret Sister gifts on the cruise. Well I guess it was not much of a secret cause we just did it with the two of us. Many of the Demonstrators do this, but they really don’t know who their secret sister is till the cruise. So we kept saying “oh I wonder what my Secret Sister is giving me tomorrow” and people would ask if we knew who our sister was or if we had met them yet, and then we would say it was just us two. I think everyone was so jealous! Ha!! Kidding!
I told you all I would share what we gave each other. It was too funny the first day though that our gifts were similar, although Tracy’s was way better then what I did for her.
This was my gift to Tracy the first day, a jar with jelly beans in it. She has this fun display in her kitchen of all old fashioned candy in containers, and their original wrappings and I thought this was cute, and she could maybe put it with them.
I added Stampin’ Up!s Urban West Rub-ons to the jar.
This was Tracy’s gift to me. The cutest jar filled with sour licorice, which is now empty as I am eating the last mouthful as I type. She also used the Urban West Rub-Ons. She also gave me a little basket to keep my cell phone in so I don’t lose it (see prior blog entry). She is the queen of crystal effects and pin making, and she decorated the jar and basket with my new favorite set Bloomin’ Beautiful.
See the beautiful detail and how she cut the flower out and put it on the jar top and the basket. Gorgeous!!!
These will be on my desk and cherished forever.
These pictures are not that good because I was taking it in our cabin on our table using the Bermuda sun in the background.
Secret Sisters!!! This is us sitting out by the pool on the ship.
Well I will sign off for now and hit the hay, I will show you the other goodies too in days to come.
I have to go pick up our income taxes in the morning, and get ready for my class this coming weekend!
Thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
Hi Di:
I just put 2 + 2 together and maybe came up with 4. Did you have passengers on the ship other than Stampers? My husband and I were originally planning a cruise to Bermuda last week. At the last minute we changed because my mom is moving this month and I need to pack her up. But it is very possible I would have accidentally been on the same cruise. If so, what a great surprise I would have had. Glad you had fun! Looking forward to your blog posts. —Sandy
