Things That Make Ya Go ??

This 'n' That

11 Mar

So about a month or so ago I went to the post office to get some priority envelopes. I had a swap coming up and knew I would need some for that.  I was told to please order them on line, and I am like well hmm…ok….I mean heck their getting money when you mail them…and a lot of money too…so I did not understand why they could not give me the envelopes…I was at the post office right?

So I was like ok whatever, I come home and get on the USPS web site and ordered my priority envelopes and I got some boxes too while I was on there.

About a week or so later I get a lovely little pink slip in my mail box.  “Sorry we missed you” I had to go to the PO to pick up a delivery.  Well guess what is was? It was my stupid priority supply order. So not only did I go to the PO to get them the first time and they would not give me any, but I had to go back and pick them up. I swear our mailman is a &$^% (just fill in the blanks).  I hate that he gives me these notices that says he misses me, when he does not even attempt to deliver the package, in fact the girl at the PO does not understand either, all these items did not need to be signed for, even if I was not home, he can leave them. I am sitting here right now with 2 pink slips of things that should be delivered to me, but I have to go get them.   They gave me a phone number where I can call to complain, and I will.

In fact one of the pink slips says Final Notice…so I called and asked what the heck is this parcel that is final notice….know what it is?  They did not give me all my priority supplies when I went in the first time…I need to go back for the rest. Geesh, give me a break!! And they want to raise the postage……..I think they need to raise the quality of the service.

OK, that is enough of my complaining for the day, and I don’t want a bunch of emails yelling at me because I know our Postal Workers work hard, and I did watch Seinfeld and know that “the mail never stops” at least that is what Newman said. It just makes me so aggravated that I have to keep going to the PO to pick up my mail when they should be bringing it to me.tart and tangy 002

Here’s a cute quick card for ya, just so you don’t feel that coming to my Blog today was a waste.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs, Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
