I don’t know about you, but I am so addicted to the new Rub-Ons. I have been putting them on everything…well not everything…but a lot of stuff anyway.
I bought a cheap little old candle from Walmart, I loved the white old fashioned enamel looking container. As soon as the candle was burned down, I washed it out and washed off the label, and thought it would be great to set on my desk and put my aqua painters and gel pens in. Then the Rub-Ons came along, and the little white container became even cuter.
It was so simple to add them, they are a little tacky so they kinda stay in place to let you apply them. Cut out the design you want, and you carefully rub it in place. Voila! Cute eh?
This little container I got at IKEA, and I have several of them hanging on my walls, holding mini glue dots, hand held punches, and odds and ends of things.
I actually had put a smaller flower in the center of the big flower and did not like it, so I just used the Adhesive Remover to take it off. It took some careful rubbing but it worked.
I also put them on the outside of the windows of my truck. It has gone through 2 car washes and they are still there. I am sure they won’t last forever because they were not really made for that, but for now they look kinda cute. When Jeff came home from work after I did it, he was like “what are ya, a hippy?” Ha! Probably cause I used flowers and butterflies!
Happy hump day and thanks for stopping in!
Hugs, Di
