I must admit I was getting a little cross eyed and dizzy when I was trying to sort flowers for my class coming up. One of the cards we will be doing is using the cute Scallop Notes and the new Flower Fusion. I had ordered a bunch of the felt flowers, 6 boxes in fact, and there are approximately 130 individual pieces in the tin, so do the math…that is a lot of flowers. I have my Demonstrator’s DIVA day coming up so you can believe there will be some flowers on their make-n-takes.
The card for class turned out so cute, very simple, quick and easy, and when I am doing a class where everyone is making 10 different cards, some of them have to be quick and easy. I added a little bit of the Bali Breeze Designer Paper to the bottom of the card, I think it shows off the scallop better.
One of the other cards we will be doing is a wedding card.
I loved the set To Have and to Hold when I saw it, just the simple way it had been drawn.
I used Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Shimmery White, and Brushed Silver card stocks. I stamped with Jetblack Stazon and colored with the aquapainter and the classic ink pads. I added a small piece of pink grosgrain ribbon tied through one of the new Silver Hodge Podge Ribbon slides on the bottom where the greeting is. Adds a nice touch, I think, as it ties in the Brushed Silver Card stock.
My class is all designed, the order is in, now I just need to work on my workshop for this weekend……oh yeah and my taxes…………
Thanks for stopping in!
