Two Toads are Better Than One

Question Avatar www.stampingwithdi.com

What the what?

So the other night Jeff was bored, he has finished all his projects...he just finished the new kitchen table. We also painted the existing 24 year old chairs to match the base.  He is not a fan of them, but they look cute and much better. I need to find some cushions to tie on...maybe then he will like them better. They need to sit a few days before I can shabby them, then I will post a pic.

So he was walking around the backyard in the dark with the flashlight...that scares me cause I am allergic to scorpions...he is Hercules!  So he comes in and says "there is a toad in the bird water bowl", and I was like "what?"

So what did I do? Well I got my camera of course.  Look at him sitting in there. I have this bowl out there for the birds, prairie dogs and what have you to drink from during the day. Little did we know it was a pool for a toad at night.

So last night I said "oh I wonder if the toad is back?" So I got the flashlight and went out and looked, and laughed so hard...I had to go get Jeff and my camera of course.

Someone told a friend. Now if there are three in there tonight, we're gonna need a bigger boat bowl.

They were both totally under the water, that freaked me out and I quickly got back in the house, plus I got a bit closer than last night and was standing in the grass. Just asking for trouble, like what if the third one was running hopping late and behind me.

Added since original post: so last night I watched from the kitchen window hoping to catch the toads getting in the bowl...I turned to chat with Jeff a minute and I turned back and they were in there I could see them flapping around....daggnabbit......so then I turned on the porch light to look out  better cause it was getting dark and one was on the rocks by the porch - all like bow legged and his head cocked like he was watching me...Jeff said probably cause the light was on and it attracts the bugs...and I thought boy he was quick I barely turned on the light...so I go out with the flashlight to look in the bowl...with one eye on the one on the rocks incase he got any jumping on my face kinda ideas....and there were 2 in the bowl...so there was 3. So am I a pysic physic future teller person? What ever should I wish for tomorrow? Not 4 toads certainly. Hugs!

July Christmas Card Class in the Mail - Snowman Season

July Seasonal Card Class in the Mail - Way to Goat

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in.

July's Classes in the Mail

Snowman Season stamp set www.stampingwithdi.com

This is the third month for doing Christmas cards, it is hard to believe Christmas will be here before we know it. We are having such hot weather in Arizona and some horrible fires, it is nice to think of snow and cooler temperatures for sure. Don't they say Christmas in July?

Who does not love getting their Christmas cards done early? No scrambling around in December to get them done, you will be all set!

I love this stamp set and we used it last year too, but we won't be doing the same card. It has a matching punch (shown below) that you will need to finish your cards so keep that in mind if you are ordering the set/punch on your own outside of the class in the mail.  Your pieces will not be punched out for you ahead of time.

Snowman builder punch (1)

For July's Christmas Card Class in the Mail, we will be using the stamp set "Snowman Season" and matching "Snowman Builder Punch".

This class has been so popular over the years here are the details if you are new:

Each month you will do 10 identical cards, but each month will be a different card. Class fee is due no later than July 10 or while supplies last. These sell out quick!

Please note: this is not a club, you can do one month or two, or all or skip a month, it is totally up to you.

The Christmas Card of the Month Class in the Mail is $35.00 per month and this will include one completed card for you to copy from and supplies for 10 matching cards (sometimes the DSP varies, if used, but the card is the same) and envelopes mailed to you by priority mail.  You will use your own inks and stamps at home (you can tweak the card with what you have at home if you don't want to use this set), nothing will be stamped on your supplies.

If you want the "Snowman Season" photopolymer* Stamp Set #150458 you can order it with your class fee for an extra $18.00, if you want the matching "Snowman Builder Punch" #150643 you can order it with your class fee for an extra $18.00,  you save tax and shipping that way - or you can order it through my store along with anything else you may want to order. Let me know if you need it or if you have it already when you sign up for class. Remember you need the punch to finish your cards.

*Remember with cling and photopolymer stamps you will need to supply your own clear blocks, these are sold separately.

Let me know you want to order July's Christmas Card of the Month Class and I will email you the paypal link.

Class packets will be mailed the week of July 27 and I can only ship within the US, thanks for understanding.
