Did you watch Survivor? I won't spoil it but I am so glad that the person that won is the winner. Also I am so excited for next season as some of my faves will be on it...and one especially (Joe) sorry had to spill that much, he is a friend of mine's nephew and God son and when he was kicked off this year I cried, so glad to see him back. Go Joe! Go Joe!!!
I wanted to show you this beautiful card I did for a swap. I showed a sneak the other day. I stamped the hatchwork imagine in Soft Sky and then I stamped the flower and greeting over top with Jetblack Stazon. I used Shimmery White cause you can play a bit with the color.
Then I colored the stem with Old Olive using the aqua painter. I stamped the flower petal image on a scrap piece of shimmery and then I just colored it super quick with Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight for the center dealie. After it dried I colored it again with Melon Mambo but just in certain areas so there was a two tone look. As you can see by this pic...
...I did not worry about staying in the lines because I was cutting it out anyway. After I cut it out I glued it over top the flower stamped on the card. I added some white gel pen dots to the center. Easy peasy eh?
